  • Dr. Merry C Lin is a psychologist, podcaster, and speaker with over 30 years of clinical expertise. She is the Executive Director of Dr. Lin & Associates, where she leads a team of psychotherapists, life coaches, and leadership experts

  • Gillian McShane is a Certified Professional Coach and has over 30 years of experience in Corporate and Not for Profit organizations building staff and volunteer teams. Gillian’s desire for wellness in the workplace developed out of her education at University of Toronto where she found her training in Physical Health and Education was most beneficial in the workplace

  • Rev. Dr. Carmen Kampman holds a Doctorate of Ministry from George Fox University, a Master of Arts from Briercrest College & Seminary, and a Diploma from Horizon College & Seminary. She is also an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Dr. Carmen Kampman serves as the Vice President of Community Relations and Assistant Professor of Leadership and Spiritual Formation at Horizon College & Seminary.

  • Kaitly Cey is an Author, Speaker, Certified Leadership Coach, and the Founding Director of the youth empowerment organization, Inspire Our Nation. Her experience teaching, pastoring and coaching has grown her passion for empowering and inspiring leaders of all ages toward their full potential.

Women of the Bible

Be inspired as you tour the pages of Scripture and meet women who knew their God and did great exploits by faith. Esther saved her people from complete annihilation. Ruth, the Moabite widow, abandoned her people’s gods and was raised up by the Lord to be the great-grandmother of King David. The Samaritan woman had a transformative encounter with Jesus and impacted her community with the Gospel. Learn how to step out in like faith and impact today’s generation!

Old Testament Poetry Books

The sacred poetry of ancient Israel has captivated hearts and minds for centuries. The Psalms feeds our soul with expressions of faith and praise while Proverbs challenges us to live each day according to the practical wisdom of God. Counselling 1

This introduction to counselling will lay the foundation for a solid biblical approach to helping people through life's difficulties. Learn how to support those who are grieving, anxious or depressed. Establish clear boundaries on what issues you are able to speak into and when to point people to professional help.

We believe that real growth happens when believers get plugged in and put their faith to work! That’s why a ministry practicum—be it in the local church, outreach ministry, or missions—is an essential part of each student’s program.

Ministry Engagement | FALL 2024

This is where things get real! At the beginning of the semester, students will be assigned to an approved ministry partner—in the local church, outreach ministry, missions agency, etc.—who will ensure that they are given opportunities to serve and put the knowledge and skills they are receiving to work in practical ways.

This is where things get real!
